Liver Cleansing

From time to time the liver can get "polluted" when we neglect our diet, drink or use tobacco
The liver is necessary for proper digestion and assimilation of fats.  The bile which is
stored in the gall bladder acts as a carrier for all liver wastes including excess cholesterol.

To keep things clean and flowing and to renew energy the liver and gall bladder should be
cleansed.

One very powerful recipe that is very effective is:

-  Beet juice, which is high in vitamins and folic acid.  It has minerals such as sodium,
iron, calcium, phosphorous and potassium. It fortifies the liver, gall bladder and kidneys.
After putting enough beets in a juicer to make at least one cup - sip it slowly.  If it is
too strong, dilute with a bit of water.

Newcomers to any juicing should begin slowly.  The powerful cleansing process of
juicing can bring on nausea.  This does not happen often and it is only temporary.
