Memory

It has become so important to maintain a good memory.  Our world today is so crowded with
information it is incredible that we even keep up the pace.  We want to impress our friends, our jobs depend on learning huge amounts of information.

A few home remedies are listed below that might keep us sharp and focused.

-  Almonds:  Eat six to ten a day.
-  Almond oil:  Take one teaspoon a day.
-  Cloves:  4 cloves in any tea mixture daily.
-  Eyebright tablets
-  Mustard seeds:  2 seeds - In another blog I did mention mustard as a memory enhancer
-  Prunes:  Take three daily
-  Rosemary tea
-  Sage:  Put some on a slice of buttered rye bread.
-  Gingko biloba:  Europeans use a lot of gingko

Some reports in this country, negated the fact that gingko helps the memory.  Sometimes I feel
that the medical industry does not want people to helped with alternative therapies.

Also, I would add that getting enough sleep is very important.  Can anyone function on only
a few hours of sleep?  For years, I have excused myself from parties, watching late night TV or
movies in favor of a good night's sleep.
